Metar Widget Donate is a simple app that allows you to check METARs in a blink right from your homescreen.

- 4 different prest widget backgrounds to choose from
- Save up to 5 airports to browse through on widget
- access PIREPs right from widget
- 5 different list colors
- possibility to search for airfields/airports offering METARs within 50NM of the airfield/airport of your choice.
Installation:
!! depending on your Android version and/or launcher :
- download and install
- long press on homescreen -> add widget->metar widget
OR
-go to app drawer -> select widget on top of screen->scroll to metar widget->long press to add to homescreen

Changes: Version 2.2.1 / July 26th 2015,- THE APP IS NOW WORKING AGAIN,( The bug was due to an update and URL change of the NOAA website which provides data to the app. ),- Custom color widgets have been redesigned so that their size will now adapt to their content ( no more horrible space between data displayed and bottom of widget),Fly safe.
